Plumbing Service Manager - Richmond Hill, GA

We're looking for a candidate with high energy, business & financial acumen, a strong customer service focus, and a desire to build and lead a talented team of technicians and managers.

About the position

The Plumbing Service Manager manages a team of Service Plumbers in selling and performing residential plumbing installations while delivering outstanding quality of work, great customer service, and expected company productivity and performance results.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Lead with integrity and professionalism.
  • Manage and lead a team of service plumbers and apprentices, including hiring, performance management, employee schedules, weekly staff meetings, training employees, reviewing payroll, and supervising work assignments to ensure technicians reach their maximum potential.
  • Be a resource to technicians and apprentices via telephone and at job sites.
  • Perform and document regular audits in the field and of daily paperwork.
  • Maintain and track department fleet vehicles and company resources.
  • Respond to customer complaints with a sense of urgency; Perform the necessary follow-up to ensure complete customer resolution and satisfaction.
  • Review and implement plans to meet and exceed the department’s performance goals.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Outlook, & Service Titan required.
  • Demonstrate leadership skills to mobilize and drive a team to achieve set goals (revenue, efficiency, and customer service)
  • Ability to solve complex problems and develop an appropriate action plan
  • Clear, articulate speaking voices with superb telephone skills
  • Clear thinking and prioritizing under all circumstances
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced, growth-oriented, and high-volume environment
  • A desire to learn and develop new skills with minimal direction
  • The ability to communicate clearly, both in writing and verbally

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION:

  • 3-5 years of direct management experience in the plumbing industry
  • At least 5 years of Plumbing experience.
